How Common Are Food Allergies And Food Intolerances?

Food intolerances are estimated to affect 45% of the UK population, whereas a food allergy affects approximately 2% of the adult population.

Symptoms of food intolerance include:

  • Tiredness
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Skin issues, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis or urticaria

Can everyone have Colonic Hydrotherapy?

Unfortunately colonic hydrotherapy is not suitable for people suffering from the following ailments:

  • severe cardiac disease
  • uncontrolled hypertension
  • congestive heart failure
  • aneurysms
  • severe anaemia
  • any internal haemorrhage or perforations
  • severe haemorrhoids or rectal bleeding
  • cirrhosis
  • carcinoma of the colon
  • fissures or fistulas
  • abdominal hernia
  • recent colon surgery (1 year)
  • renal insufficiency
  • It is also not suitable for pregnant women.

Feel free to phone us and discuss your symptoms, as an alternative therapy or treatment may be a solution.

Should you have any health concerns or queries, please consult your doctor before making an appointment.

Why should I have Colonic Hydrotherapy?

An individual can carry 1kg-10kg (6 – 8lbs.) of old faecal matter in their colon. A healthy colon is essential to a healthy body.

Modern dietary habits and fast-paced lifestyles lead to eating refined and processed foods that are high in saturated fats and low in natural fibre, which all contribute to a multitude of bowel disorders and subsequent health problems.

Think about trying to have a clean and happy home but with blocked drains and the bin men on strike, so no rubbish collection! The more you ignore the problem, the bigger the problem becomes and soon you end up with a giant mess!
